Dr. Donald Mitzelfelt is a former orthopaedic surgeon who now specializes in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating all types of general orthopedic problems and injuries, especially fractures. At your home for orthopaedics, Dr. Mitzelfelt is highly experienced in providing timely and effective care from diagnosis to recovery.

Since 1994, Dr. Mitzelfelt has been treating patients throughout Central Illinois. He is dedicated to providing personalized care for each patient in order to restore mobility and minimize recovery time.

Originally hailing from the West Coast, Dr. Mitzelfelt earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, CA. He also completed his residency at Loma Linda University School of Medicine, where he pursued advanced training in orthopaedic surgery.

Having lived in Pekin and Tremont as a child, Dr. Mitzelfelt is dedicated to serving Pekin and the surrounding communities by providing compassionate care and working tirelessly to improve the health of its residents.
