Dr. Luke Luetkemeyer uses the best tools and methods available to get you moving comfortably again. Through his hip and knee replacement and revision surgeries, he also offers patients the opportunity for a same-day discharge.
Peoria-born and raised, Dr. Luetkemeyer returned to Central Illinois following med school in Southern Illinois, a residency in Grand Rapids and a fellowship at the University of Virginia. He was initally drawn to Midwest Orthopaedic Center because of its reputation as a place where medical professionals work closely together for the good of their patients. Now practicing orthopaedics in his hometown, he’s continuing his parents’ health care legacy –– his father was an internal medicine physician and his mother was an ICU nurse in the area.
As an orthopaedic surgeon with long-standing ties to the community, Dr. Luetkemeyer enjoys coaching a local baseball team and volunteering for his local parish. In turn, he gets satisfaction from sharing his health care skills with area patients who are able to regain their mobility and quality of life after surgery.
