Midwest Orthopaedic Center has been awarded the ACR Gold Seal in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The accreditation recognizes the highest level of image quality and patient safety.
The ACR Gold Seal is only awarded to facilities meeting ACR Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards based on a peer-review evaluation by board-certified physicians and medical physicists. Image quality, personnel qualifications, adequacy of facility equipment, quality control procedures and quality assurance programs are assessed.
“We are very proud to have achieved this level of accreditation,” said
Derek Armstrong, CEO of Midwest Orthopaedic Center. “Our doctors and staff work hard to maintain very high standards and this validates what we are accomplishing.”
The ACR is a national organization serving more the 34,000 medical professionals with programs focusing on the practice of medical imaging, radiation oncology and the delivery of comprehensive healthcare services.
