Dr. Chukwunenye Osuji first came to Midwest Orthopaedic Center in 2011. Its reputation for delivering excellence in orthopaedic care is what inspired him to make this practice his professional home. In the time since, he’s worked closely with his colleagues to bring first-rate bone, muscle and joint treatment to patients in Central Illinois and the surrounding region.

Specializing in the treatment and prevention of traumatic injuries and chronic conditions, Dr. Osuji operates on complex fractures and performs hip and knee joint reconstruction. For the latter, he offers robotic-assisted procedures and also champions the anterior approach to hip replacements –– which can help minimize pain and maximize mobility following surgery.

To Dr. Osuji, empathy is the driving force behind his approach to orthopaedics. He aims to understand the underlying cause of your injury before developing a relevant treatment plan for you. He’s also fully aware that training doesn’t stop in med school.
